EFT

Visit www.Tapping.com for more Emotional Freedom Technique videos, EFT articles, and my E-Book. Emotional Freedom Technique is a simple acupressure technique for releasing negative feelings. You feel negative feelings in the body, so you have to go to the body to work on them. This video gives a brief description of how Tapping (EFT or Emotional Freedom Technique) works and shows use of an electro-acupuncture pen to detect the points. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Q How hard should I tap? A: Tap lightly, just so that you feel it. The purpose of the tapping is to bring your attention to different parts of your body, it actually works if you just imagine tapping – as long as your attention is drawn to the right points. Q: How can I be sure I am finding the right points? A: Use two fingers to make sure you cover the points. Sometimes the point will ‘feel’ right, as if there is a slight indent in the skin or the point is particularly sensitive. It’s all connected so you don’t have to be 100% accurate. Q: You have missed out points that Gary Craig teaches! A: Yes. Feel free to tap those too, I left them out to keep the video simple and it seems to work fine without them. If you find the video doesn’t work for you, try tapping the additional points – around the top-middle of the head, and just under the armpit. Q: Is the sequence important? A: No. You can tap the points in any order. In fact you only need to tap one or two of the points for each particular feeling. It’s just you

    Cool!

These videos are great. I’m glad that someone’s explained it in a non-New Age way and that it’s an electrical phenomenon. That pen is fantastic and proves the point well (so to speak).

I just bought the pen from ebay, thanks!

  4. EdZep123 says:

Hehehe. I just got a pen off Ebay, too.

The pen isn’t much use, by the way – other than for curiousity and to demonstrate that the points are real. I haven’t found anything you can do with acupuncture that you can’t do with Tapping more easily and more reliably.

I think if the pen just proves the points exist that’s impressive enough. I’ve also been looking into Freeway-CER which is meant to be even more powerful (there’s *always* another technique that works even better). EFT does work, though. Sometimes, remarkably well.

You’re right, the pen isn’t much good. :) It does beep more when it gets to the points, though.

If I can’t get over depression by July I will seriously do something irrational. I live in So California, Gods paradise, how could I not be happy? I have it all, but I’m so unhappy. If I won the lottery it would mean nothing. I am going to try this, seriously. It must work, I need it to work badly. I appreciate your sincerity and clarity in this matter.
If it has a telepathy option, can you tap some vibes this way? I just want to be happy again.
    Matt

How’s your diet? Could it be your sugar-sensitive. Sugar in almost any quantity makes me very depressed. It’s a common phenomenon and yet not well known. How’s the EFT going?

Just wondering if it worked for you? I’ve had great results just over a few days and I’ve been depressed myself for a few years. I went to Magnus’s website and he recommended the video, “The Secret” which is great and complements tapping perfectly. You were right! Thanks again Magnus for this crucial piece of information that came to me at the perfect time. Hope that it helped you too Matt.

Am still wondering about how to deal with complex problems.

  12. bge777 says:

You deal with them one aspect at a time.

hi, I’ve had post viral syndrome for years and have been looking at ways to battle depression and I really like this, it’s helped me, thanks.

You explained it wonderfully. It must be because i’m from London that i can relate to your explanation. It’s definitely true that we are made up of electrical impulses and the ‘wiring’ can go wrong. Medication maskes the problems.(anaesthesises them temporarily)
How would you you deal with a complex area like agoraphobia?
