Self-Acceptance with Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)


Dudes, smoke some pot or take relax pills before you go to sleep or go for walk, before you are going to sleep! Helps me everytime!
I am a night owl (my Dad was, too). Work and emotional challenges in the past 2+ years have messed up with my sleep cycle, so I typically do not get to sleep until 6 or 7 am, waking at noon or 1 pm or later.
I started applying eft just a few days ago and it seemed effective at first. Then, yesterday and today, I find myself with no motivation to do any tapping. It’s like there’s a part of me that wants to hold on to my problems and just be resigned to the futility of my life.
i hate insomnia very very much…it really disturbs the way my body,my brain…wew
believe it or not…it is our mind that make us cant sleep…we think too much why i cant sleep..then in the end…we cant sleep…
i agree… sometimes i’ll be staying up till 4am, and then ill feel sleepy, but when i try to sleep, i cant
im writing this msg at 530am in the morning
im only in my early 20′s too, and i’ve been like this for years and years…
i wish i could just go to bed at say 1030pm and wake up at 630am…
Carl Rodgers said that if we TRY to fall asleep we wil not, but if we try to STAY AWAKE we will fall asleep, and he was not a silly man.

The first bit is most important because it emphasizes the problem, bringing it out of the unconscious mind, or the possibility to go into the unconscious. After we push something into the unconscious, it creates the pain or the disorder on the physical body, alerting us of the content in our unconscious, which is not supposed to be there. Any problem can be dissolved by addressing it and tapping it away. I have tried on more than 15 people and it worked for everything and all the time.

I did make sure to really mean what I say during the tapping; just imitating someone else’s words feels to ‘empty and distant’ to influence the subconscious mind

i used to lay awake for 2 or three hours in frustration
i sleep like a brick now
Is this still your regular sleeping curriculum or have u changed it in the last 10 months
has anyone tried this and has it worked? because if it has, plz let me know!
it appears it works. I don’t have insomnia but i do have problems with sleeping at night. Always has been since i was a kid. alcohol helps at night. luckely i became a writer cause if i had a job type a job i wouldn’t know what to do cause during the daytime i sleep better. but not enough. so dude i think you should try it. FUCKING insomnia! dam , i went to bed 12 am and i was still awake at 5 am, all those hours i was so fucking madd and then at 4 and 5 am i was calm, not tire even if i didrent sleep anything…
hahah i went to bed at 1 and didnt een day dream until 11 how fucked its the point now where i cant even be fucked to bed and try

Other psychologists talked about this as well. It’s known as reverse psychology. Viktor Frankl, the founder of logotherapy, mentioned this too.
Although I can’t speak for its effectiveness, never got to benefit from this way of thinking. Actually, when something tips off in me, and I feel well and feel that I can definitely sleep, I may as well think this way – but in that case it’s just the overall well-being that helps sleep, not reverse psychology.
In my experience, I found acupressure to be helpful at some point – acupressure, not exactly EFT.
